Now, Iwrote this on my blog. It does not express the views of THIS blog, or the other bloggers. I’m just a bitch. If you wanna attack me, send it to a-corner-of-my-universe. Thanks.

I’ve said this a few times but I’m going to reblog this just because I obviously agree. (My current lack of friends/a social life and spending 95% of my time with the bf doesn’t mean I’ve lost myself or my personality)

Hi! My name is Shelby!

I work for a growing company that specializes in adult toys and lingerie, a novelties shop. What I really love, love, LOVE about our company is that the owner has just spent 120,000 dollars in lingerie and has now spent even more money (150,000 dollars to be exact!!)…

All the different size models. Plus also does their website suck less? The last time I was on the website it was so hard to navigate

January Jone Eats Placenta

Most mammals eat their own placenta after giving birth and according to “Mad Men’s” January Jones, more women should try ingesting their offspring’s afterbirth as well.

Speaking at a press junket before the show’s season premiere, the actress told People magazine that she pops a dehydrated placenta capsule when she’s feeling tired or blue. “Its not witch-crafty or anything, I suggest it to all moms!” Jones enthused. Since the 34 year-old single mom was able to return to the set about seven weeks after her son Xander was born, her controversial elixir may be working.

Its not witch-crafty……What does exactly she mean by that?!

I really hated that movie Poyno

I thought it was the biggest waste of time of a movie and was sad I even spent 99 cents on it.

Reading Wiccapedia

Iain got me this newish book called Wiccapedia: A modern-day white witch’s guide by Shawn Robbins and Leanna Greenaway. I just finished reading it. I’m still not altogether sure how I feel about it right now. Some parts were very interesting and I enjoyed them. Of course, other parts I just kind of rolled my eyes and skipped.

It obviously isn’t really a beginner’s book (or I don’t think it is). It includes the basics of moon phases and how to use them in spellcraft, candle magick, an interesting section on using your cellphone, email, and microwave for spells. They have sections on crystals and wish boxes, herbs and the essential witch’s tools. There is a short (less than 10 pages) section on Love magick which is followed by a section on Psychic abilities and Divination. Scrying with Crystal balls, Numerology, Dreams, Tea Leaf reading and Pendulums are all there.

To be expected they have the general warnings about ‘Do what thou wilt but harm ye none.’ at the end. I forgot to mention at the very beginning are the authors ideas of reincarnation, using angels in magick and Ouija boards. The last page has to little “Wallet Cards” that the reader can photo copy and stick in their wallet for money and luck.

After all of it and writing the above (it took me a while…the cats playing with a roach and my running away from said roach was distracting) I can’t decide how I feel. I do know I’ll keep the book for a while and maybe re-read some of the divination sections since I found them the most interesting. If anyone has read this book and wants to register an opinion I would love to hear it!

Blessed Be to everyone <3
